Being the last of four children, Joe has always been flooded with music. Grown among records by Abba and Van McCoy, taken home by his big brother, DJ in a pirate radio, Joe has always being curious about rhythm and melody. At the age of three, he gets lost on the beach. His family finds him in front of a Juke-Box while dancing the funky of Joe Tex's "I Gotcha". His father buys him all the cartoons 7"'s, which Joe consumes in his red record player. Besides that, he is also smitten by 70's disco: Barry White, Donna Summer and KC and the Sunshine Band. His sister Vivì enters her teens, and Joe becomes acquainted also with Leift Garrett, Howard Jones and Lucio Battisti. At 12, he runs away with his sister's boyfriend's Vespa to buy his first vinyl: Dead Or Alive's "Youthquake".

Ultimo genito di quattro bambini, joe è sempre stato immerso nella musica. Cresciuto tra dischi di Abba e Van McCoy, portati a casa da suo fratello maggiore, dj in una radio pirata, Joe è sempre stato incuriosito da ritmi e melodie.
All'età di tre anni si perse in spiaggia. La sua famiglia lo trovò di fronte ad un juke-box mentre ballava un pezzo funky di Joe Tex, "I Gotcha". Suo padre gli comprò i 7" di tutti i cartoni animati, che Joe consumò nel suo mangiadischi rosso.
Inoltre fu anche colpito dalla disco anni '70: Barry White, Donna Summer and KC e the Sunshine Band. Quando sua sorella Vivì divenne adolescente,Joe iniziò a familiarizzare anche con Leift Garrett, Howard Jones e Lucio Battisti. A 12 anni scappò con la Vespa del fidanzato di sua sorella per andare a comprarsi il suo primo vinile: "Youthquake" dei Dead Or Alive.

...that day marks the beginning of his endless collecting of vinyls, cds and cassettes.
Then the 80's wave comes, and famous bands pop up, like Duran Duran, Wham!, Spandau Ballet, Bronsky Beat and the great Prince and Michael Jackson. He also listens carefully to bands like Talk Talk and ABC. In the year when (in Italy) the youth is divided between "paninari" (a youth tribe much into fashion brands like Best Company, American System, Monclair) and "dark" (Goths), Joe goes to art school, and puts himself by the "darks". He get to know The Cure, Joy Division and Bauhaus. Much to his joy, he gets in a ghost band called SCHÖNHEIT SELTEN, in which everybody played nothing.
The band existed, though, and that was enough.

Quella giornata segnò l'inizio della sua infinita collezione di vinili, cd e cassette.
Poi arrivò l'onda pop degli anni '80, con le sue famose bands come Duran Duran, Wham!, Spandau Ballet, Bronsky Beat ed i grandi Prince e Michael Jackson. Joe ascoltò attentamente anche bands come i Talk Talk e gli ABC. Negli anni in cui la gioventù italiana si divide tra "paninari" (gruppi di ragazzi che vestono solo abiti firmati, privilegiando marchi quali Best Company,American System,Monclair) e "dark" ( gotici), joe frequenta una scuola d'arte, e sceglie di essere un dark. Ascolta i The Cure, I Joy Division,i Bauhaus. Entra a far parte di una band chiamata SCHÖNHEIT SELTEN, nella quale nessuno suona nulla.
La band esisteva, e questo era sufficiente.

It's the 90's...the grunge movement arrives. Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Jeff Buckley are the most listed to. Determined to be in a band, he starts to take drums lessons – most of all because a drummer is always needed – so that it would have been easier to find a band to play in. In 1991 he joins Spotlight Chasers, a grunge group that will exist for five year, but will only perform twice. Sick and tired of only playing covers, he decided to start writing songs. Not being able to compose, he sings in front of everybody, so he takes the singer's place. Even if little known, Spotlight Chasers were an important stage for Joe, because he wrote many songs in that period.
In 1997 he joins Metal Trade, a trash metal band. No covers here, only original songs, many live shows and a demo which gets excellent reviews. In this period Joe listens mostly to Metallica, Pantera and Slayer. He then discovers NIN, Marilyn Manson and Rammstein, approaching more electronic sounds. In 2001 he faces the industrial test in the studio, with Metal Trade's bass player, giving birth to The Outburst. At the end of 2001 he finally gives up distorted guitars and moves towards electronic music. He listens to Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Death In Vegas and especially Mirwais. He meets Jack and starts with him a new electronic adventure, giving birth to Mammoths'dreams. The references are many: Mouse on Mars, Matthew Herbert, Cocteau Twins, Pj Harvey, creating a sort of glitch-rock.

Negli anni '90... arriva il movimento grunge. Joe ascolta molto i Nirvana, i Pearl Jam e Jeff Buckley. Determinato ad entrare in una band,inizia a prendere lezioni di batteria -soprattutto perchè i batteristi sono richiesti spesso -, così sarebbe stato più facile trovare una band ed entrare a farci parte. Nel 1991 si unisce agli Spotlight Chasers,un gruppo grunge che esisterà per cinque anni,ma che suonerà solo due volte. Stanco di suonare solo covers, decide di iniziare a scrivere canzoni. Non essendo in grado di comporre, canta di fronte a tutti e prende il posto del cantante. Sebbene poco conosciuti,gli Spotlight Chasers furono importanti per Joe, perchè in quel periodo scrisse molti pezzi.
Nel 1997 si unì ai Metal Trade, trash metal band.Qui niente cover,solo canzoni originali, molti concerti ed un demo che ebbe ottime critiche. In questo periodo Joe ascolta soprattutto Metallica, Pantera e Slayer. poi scopre NIN, Marylin Manson e Rammstein, approciandosi a suoni più elettronici.
Nel 2001 , insieme al bassista dei Metal Trade,dà vita ai The Oustburst, ed alla fine del 2001 rinuncia finalmente alle chitarre distorte muovendosi verso la musica elettronica.Ascolta i Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Death In Vegas e soprattutto Mirwais.
incontra Jack ed inizia con lui una nuova avventura elettronica, dando vita ai Mammoths'dreams. Le referenze sono varie: Mouse on Mars, Matthew Herbert, Cocteau Twins, Pj Harvey. creano così una sorta di glitch-rock.

In 2002 Joe and Jack start to DJ in various clubs. Afterhours are Joe's favorite situations, in which he can play harder and faster music. The duo organizes for a year the club night Trash!, of electronic music.
Joe is always searching ways to express himself better, trying to create in a most original possible way.

In 2004 he generates the alter ego Sergio Wow!, a queer-porn-star that grinds mechanical rhythms in the distortion, melodies made with an old moog and ironic-fetish lyrics. Nel 2002 Joe e Jack iniziano a suonare come dj in vari clubs. Gli afterhours sono le situazioni preferite da Joe, in cui può suonare musica più dura e veloce.I due organizzano per un anno una club-night settimanale di musica elettronica, chiamata "Trash!" Joe cerca sempre modi per esprimersi al meglio, cercando di creare nel modo più originale possibile. Nel 2004 s'inventa l'alter ego Sergio Wow!, una queer-pornostar che frantuma ritmi meccanici attraverso distorsori,melodie fatte con vecchi moog e testi fetish ed ironici.
