When bntmrc77 was 4 years old, he went to nursery school for just a couple of months, because he had difficulties with playing together and mingling with other kids. He thought of his red toy tractor with pedals as of his only true friend. In primary school everything went normally, except that he had problems with huge gaps in his head, shoelaces and multiplication table. He got through those 5 years of education thanks to shoes with Velcro fastening. In high school he was notorious for coping from the book the correct result of an algebraic expression, and then trying to convince the math teacher that he reckoned all mentally. Due to his acts of vandalism during an excursion to Cava Bomba (an archaeological site), he was suspended from school for three days. Because of numerous quarrels with a teacher who insisted that he decorated his projects with the drawings of Nini and Ricky Mouse, he was not promoted that year.

Quando bntmrc77 aveva 4 anni, frequentò l'asilo nido solo per un paio di mesi perchè aveva difficoltà a giocare e socializzare con gli altri bambini. Pensava che il suo trattore-giocattolo rosso a pedali fosse il suo unico vero amico.
Alla scuola elementare tutto sembrò normalizzarsi, eccetto qualche problema con i lacci delle scarpe ,le tabelline della moltiplicazione e delle grosse lacune in testa. Attraversò questi cinque anni educativi grazie alle scarpe con il Velcro, decisamente più pratiche.
Alla scuola superiore divenne famoso per copiare dal libro i risultati delle espressioni algebriche, per poi tentare di convincere l'insegnante che aveva risolto il tutto da solo. A causa dei suoi atti vandalici durante un'escursione a Cava Bomba (area di reperti archeologici) venne sospeso dalla scuola per tre giorni. E a causa di numerose controversie con un'insegnante, che insisteva a dire che avesse decorato i propri progetti con schizzi di Nini e Ricky Mouse, quell'anno non fu promosso.

Then, instead of going to school, he started hanging out at parks all day long and spending weekends at the hottest electronic clubs in Veneto.
When he was again not promoted, he cooled down a little and started to work harder. He did an installation: in the center of a large square in front of the school where teachers used to park their cars, there stood a lonely fir tree, and bntmrc77 hung to its highest branches a pair of two enormous polystyrene eyes, a grin and a balloon where he wrote "I'm sad".
Finally, bntmrc77 reached the Academy of Fine arts in Venice, attaining some extraordinary goals. Nevertheless, things didn't get much better.
As a free lancer in graphic arts who did not possess a computer at the time, he was asked to create a flyer for some new club in the town. Working on a friend's computer, he revolutionized the graphics of club flyers by using Word and Paint (see image). Shortly after it, the club failed and closed down.

Fu così che, invece di andare a scuola, iniziò a polleggiare a lungo e di frequente al parco e, durante i weekend, a frequentare i clubs elettronici più caldi del Veneto.
Quando l'anno successivo venne di nuovo bocciato, si tranquillizzò per un po' ed iniziò a lavorare un po' di più. Creò un'installazione: al centro della piazza di fronte alla scuola, dove gli insegnanti usavano parcheggiare le proprie auto, si trovava un solo, grande abete; bntmrc77 appese sui suoi rami più alti un paio di enormi occhi di polistirolo,una smorfia ed un pallone dove scrisse: "sono triste."
Finalmente bntmrc77 raggiunse l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, dove ottenne ottimi risultati. Tuttavia le cose non sembrarono andare molto meglio.
Free lancer in arti grafiche ma privo di un computer, gli fu chiesto di creare dei flyers per un nuovo club in città.
Lavorando al computer di un amico, rivoluzionò le grafiche dei flyers del club usando Word e Paint (vedi l'immagine).
Ma poco dopo, il club fallì e chiuse i battenti.

He found a part time job in a “graphics studio” where he had to cut out the pictures of tomatoes for illustrated supermarket leaflets, and to be “flexible” when it came to the working hours, even if his employers were demanding already 10 hours a day of his effort. He also remembers other episodes when he went pretty well in leafleting or in working without being paid at the end. Today bntmrc77 is at art, video, graphics and djing. His successes continue to be, as he says, similar to algebraic expressions. He can't name any preferred artist, because he feels all artists are his rivals. Except for Carsten Nicolai. He enjoys mixing "A Narrative for Orchestra" by Bernard Herrmann with the electronic music from "Prototypes" by alva noto.

Trovò un lavoro part-time in uno studio di grafica dove doveva tagliare delle foto di pomodori per i depliants illustrati di un supermercato ed essere "flessibile" nell'orario di lavoro, anche se i datori gli chiedevano già dieci ore al giorno.
Ricorda anche altri episodi, quando lavorò bene a dei volantini senza poi essere retribuito.
Oggi bntmrc77 si occupa d'arte, di video, di grafica e di djing. I suoi successi, come egli stesso sostiene,somigliano a delle espressioni algebriche.
Non ritiene di riferire i nomi dei propri artisti preferiti perchè crede che gli artisti siano tutti rivali. Eccezione per Carsten Nicolai.
Si diverte a mixare "A Narrative Orchestra" di Bernard Hermmann con la musica elettronica di "Prototypes" di alva noto.

He has manipulated a series of images of an advertising campaign by a notorious multinational company, unmasking the united colours of hypocrisy. He has designed and stamped stickers against those he think are assholes. Etc, etc…

Ha manipolato una serie d'immagini della campagna pubblicitaria di una nota compagnia multinazionale smascherando gli United Colors Of Hypocrisy. Ha disegnato e stampato stickers contro quelli che considera degli stronzi, etc..etc..

Dee-yevotchka moved from Pula (Croatia) to Padova (Italy) at the age of 19. At the University of Padova, she was attending various courses in English and German languages and literatures. However, the only language she started to speak fluently was Italian.
What is more, she began always telling people how she felt then as if there were thousands of different words in her head, but non of them the right one.

Dee-yevotchka si é trasferita da Pola (Croazia) a Padova all'età di 19 anni.
Ha frequentato i corsi di lingua e letteratura Inglese e Tedesca all'Università di Padova, ma l'unica lingua che ha imparato bene è l'italiano.
Ha iniziato a dire sempre alle persone quello che pensa, come se ci fossero migliaia di parole nella sua testa. ma nessuna di esse è esatta.

One day dee-yevotchka met a boy. She imagined that he kidnapped her and locked her in a house, far from the city, where she could write all day long, without having to do anything else. The boy took her away in a house far from the city. He led her in a room full of cameras, computers, video recorders, televisions, monitors and cds. He compelled her to learn how to use those tecnological instruments as if they were as necessary as a pair of eyeglasses to read and to write. From that day on, dee-yevotchka had to get up early and start clicking the buttons, pluging in, changing the position of lights and tripods, shooting, cuting, editing and piecing together, distructing and reinventing. Sometimes she caused damages, and the boy shouted at her in anger. All that frensy made her fall ill: she was affected with a some sort of a twentyfirst-century disease.

Un giorno dee-yevotchka incontrò un ragazzo. S' immaginò che lui la rapisse e la chiudesse in una casa, lontano dalla città, dove lei potesse scrivere tutto il giorno, senza dover fare nient'altro.
Il ragazzo la portò via in una casa lontana dalla città. La rinchiuse in una stanza piena di macchine fotografiche, computers, telecamere, televisori,monitors e cds. La costrinse ad imparare ad usare tutti quegli strumenti tecnologici come se fossero necessari quanto un paio d'occhiali per leggere e scrivere.
Da quel giorno in avanti, dee-yevotchka ha dovuto alzarsi presto ed iniziare a premere bottoni, inserire spine, cambiare posizione di luci e trepiedi, scattare ,tagliare copiare incollare,distruggere e reinventare. Qualche volta ha fatto qualche danno, e il ragazzo le ha urlato contro incazzato.Tutta quella frenesia la fece ammalare: si trattava di una sorta di disagio del ventunesimo secolo.

But at least she didn't have to spend all her time anymore in that hideous university city, which always made her feel as squeezing a dozen of mouldy oranges dry. Neither did she torment herself anymore with silly questions like, was it better to speak the words out or keep them inside?

Today dee-yevotchka is 25. She talks less. Sometimes she writes. Quite often she works hard. She does audio visual performances together with bntmrc77 in different places, etc. The Magicake like taking her around with them as VJ for their live acts, and she says, she has a good time then putting on a flamy red lipstick. Ma alla fine non dovette passare tutto il suo tempo in quell'odiosa città universitaria, che la faceva sentire sempre come se dovesse spremere dozzine di arance secche e ammuffite. E poi non si tormentò più con sciocche questioni tipo, ho fatto bene a dire le parole che ho detto o era meglio star zitta? Oggi dee-yevotchka ha 25 anni. Parla meno. Qualche volta scrive. Spesso lavora molto. Crea performances audio visive con bntmrc77 in diversi posti. Ai The Magicake piace portarsela in giro come vj per i loro live-acts, e lei alla fine trova divertente mettersi un rossetto rosso fiamma.
